The Story of a Collection for fashion label We Are Kindred documents the debut of their Resort '18 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. The film opens in the Kindred studio of Surry Hills, moves backstage at the show and finishes front and centre on the runway. Floridita is named after Ernest Hemmingway's favourite bar in Havana and is brought to life by luxe fabrics and floating floral prints, a nod to the Havana theme. Muses Bianca Jagger and Eva Mendes provide inspiration of old and new world glamour and hints at hot summer nights.

Lucy produced and directed the film, working with Henry Cousins on camera and as editor. The film went live on instagram shortly after the show, followed by the long form version.
